Christine Nails Mid Central SFV
Christine Luong has been doing SFV Granny’s nails for several years, though I’ve lived in three areas of SFV. She is centrally located — literally in the mid-Valley. Being an art teacher, my job is very hard on my nails. Christine’s developed a technique for me that lasts for weeks. And they still look good regardless of the variety of materials I stick my hands into each day! That includes clay, sticky papier mache, and India ink.
Christine escaped with her family from Vietnam as boat people when she was a teenager. I’ve been fascinated to hear their harrowing adventures on the high seas, in refugee camps, and starting over in a new country without knowing the language. She’s put her own kids through college and law school doing nails. She’s an American success story!
