We had dinner at one of the big Chinese chains last month, and boy were we disappointed. The food was poor, as was the service. I’d been thinking we definitely needed to change the flavor. So when SFV Granny was in Reseda, she popped into the Great Wall on Sherman Way for a big take- out order. We can always count on delicious flavors and gracious service in this traditional American Chinese restaurant.
We were not disappointed with the mu shu pork or the sweet and sour spare ribs. Yum. Crab rangoons, pillow soft! The place doesn’t look like much when you park free in the back nondescript lot. But it’s been in the middle of this block of plain storefronts forever and remains a poplar, affordable family spot. Like they say, you can’t judge a book by its cover!
